  • History:

    HideSkin is a South African company specializing in the sale of premium animal hides and skins for home décor and interior design. Founded by Craig van Heerden, the business has roots dating back to 1978 when the van Heerden family began farming Nguni cattle in Zululand. In 1998, they expanded into tanning hides as a by-product on their farm in Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal. Craig later established HideSkin to offer both local and imported hides, including Brazilian cowhides and Texas Longhorn hides, which share a lineage with the Nguni breed
